| LDI Fibres, Inc. Served as part of technical consultant team on a statewide market development project funded by the Minnesota Office of Environmental Assistance to expand the capacity of recovered paper mills to use more residential mixed paper. |

| Minnesota Center for Transportation Studies / Local Road Research Board. Served as project coordinator and technical consultant for a research implementation project to develop specifications and disseminate education information about use of glass as an aggregate supplement. Lead agency is the University of Minnesota's Center for Transportation Studies Technology Transfer Program. |

| Cass County, Minnesota. Served as project consultant on glass to aggregate research and demonstration project for Environmental Services Department. Produced a report, Glass Processing and Marketing Options: A Cost-Benefit Analysis as one of several products resulting from this project. |

| Glass Aggregate Marketing. Served as consultant for glass aggregate processing and marketing for Super Cycle, Inc., a multi-material recycler in St. Paul, Minnesota |

| Plastics Research and Marketing. Server as Manager of Business Development for Super Cycle and Recycle Minnesota Resources, including assistance in researching plastics markets, processing and collections. |

| Analysis of Polystyrene Recycling Processing Costs. Assisted Syper Cycle with analysis of polystyrene markets and operating costs to help determine feasibility of expanding processing and reducing handling costs. |

| Plastics Recycling Pilot Program, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Served as technical project manager for the Council for Solid Waste Solutions plastics pilot program to demonstrate the feasibility of curbside recycling of a wide variety of plastic containers. Responsibilities included: program design, contract management, public education, performance monitoring, and market development. Completed several related studies including characterization of plastics and equipment surveys for processing plastic containers. |

| Twin Cities Polystyrene Recycling Program. Served as the local project coordinator for the Polystyrene Packaging Council to develop and expand collection and processing systems for all types of polystyrene. Provided technical and public relations support to the regional coalition of businesses directing this project. |

| Target Stores. Served as a technical and marketing consultant for a plastic film recycling feasibility study as a subcontractor with EcoSource. |

| Como Park District 10 Community Council / City of St. Paul. Served as coordinator for Como Park infiltration garden project intended to demonstrate alternative, "up stream" storm water treatment alternatives. Major public education element to be designed and implemented by District 10 Committee under Mr. Krivit's direction. Developed two successful grant applications and coordinated securing commitments from multiple partners. |

| Solid Waste and Recyclables Collection Efficiency Study for The City of Duluth. Provided independent analyses of current and alternative collection systems for the City of Duluth, Minnesota including review and recommendations concerning rate setting process. A key element included consensus building workshop with the Duluth City Council. |

| Dunn County Wisconsin -- Recycling and Waste Reduction Directory. Compiled and edited a comprehensive directory of waste reduction and recycling services provided within the County including public and private operations. |

| North American Recycling Communications -- A Study for Eco-Emballages. Served as a member of a three-firm consulting team to identify and assemble outstanding communication materials and campaigns from all over North America to assist Eco-Emballages in meeting its recycling development objectives in France. |

| Minnesota Compost Facility Operators' Forum. Produces a one-day seminar on December 16, 1992 for operators of solid waste compost plants. Prepared information and videos for each of the eight facilities in the state. Funded through a Waste Education grant from the Minnesota Office of Waste Management. |

| Analysis of Bakery Waste Recovery Options. Provided consulting services to McGlynn's Bakery of Grand Metropolitan Foodservice company to help decide long-term handling and recovery systems of bakery waste. |

| Analysis of Proposed National Food Waste Composting Program. Served as a member of three person consulting team to assess current and long-range potential for composting of food waste for KFC. Examined relevant existing operations and analyzed state regulations. |

| Yard Waste Composting Operations. Provided technical, strategic and government relations services to Empire Organic Greenhouse. |

| City of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Coordinator for the original recycling demonstration program that grew into city-wide collection service. Responsibilities included: program design, publicity, contract management and performance evaluation. Also helped implement an improved recycling program for all City Hall employees. Worked with Hennepin County to examine cooperative purchasing and marketing of recyclable materials. |

| National Recycling Coalition, Washington, D.C. Coordinated the Seventh National Recycling Congress for the State of Minnesota held in St. Paul in September, 1988. Also, coordinated evaluation of proposals for the 1993 and 1994 National Recycling Congresses for the National Recycling Coalition. |

| Minnesota Waste Management Board, St. Paul, Minnesota. Team leader for the technical assistance and grants unit. Helped develop Minnesota state legislative policy to improve recycling and purchasing systems within state agencies. Evaluated State of Minnesota's Department of Administration's resource recovery program. |

| Lake of the Woods County, Minnesota. Designed a study to measure environmental and worker health/safety impacts for a mixed solid waste composting facility. |

| Ramsey and Washington Counties, Minnesota. Evaluated the technical, economic, environmental and institutional barriers and opportunities to expand operations of an existing refuse-derived-fuel plant to include a solid waste composting element. |

| Manitowoc County, Wisconsin. Developing a county-wide recycling plan that will guide the municipalities and County through future expansions of services, programs and materials recycling facilities. Utilized a community-based, interactive process for assuring that local needs and values shape the plan. |

| Southeast Iowa Regional Planning Commission, Burlington, Iowa. Developed a comprehensive solid waste management plan for a group of counties in Southeast Iowa and a neighboring county in Illinois. Included analysis of relative economic and environmental impacts of five integrated waste management technologies: waste reduction; recycling; yard waste composting; mixed waste composting; refuse-derived fuel; and landfilling. |
