In addition to his consulting business, Mr. Krivit has held a variety of private and government positions in the field of recycling and solid waste management:
  • Super Cycle, Inc. Mr. Krivit served as Manager of Business Development for Super Cycle and Recycle Minnesota Resources. He researched a variety of business growth opportunities, including collaboration with other recycling service providers in the Twin Cities area and greater Minnesota. He also helped identify market opportunities for serving the sludge disposal needs of paper mills in Wisconsin.

  • Resource Integration Systems, Inc. (RIS). Mr. Krivit served as a senior consultant for this recycling and composting consulting firm. As project manager, he was responsible for coordinating complex research and planning functions of multiple offices in the U.S. and Canada. He received professional training in the consulting business and served on a wide variety of projects for public and private clients.

  • Minnesota Waste Management Board (WMB). Mr. Krivit was the team leader for the technical assistance and grants unit. He helped develop Minnesota state legislative policy to improve recycling and purchasing systems within state agencies.

  • National Recycling Coalition. While on staff at the WMB, Mr. Krivit coordinated the Seventh National Recycling Congress for the State of Minnesota held in St. Paul in September, 1988.

  • City of Minneapolis. Mr. Krivit was the contract coordinator for the original recycling demonstration program that grew into citywide collection service. His responsibilities included: program design, publicity, contract management and performance evaluation. He also helped implement an improved recycling program for all City Hall employees. He worked with Hennepin County to examine cooperative purchasing and marketing of recyclable materials.
